Fairsted’s First Wine Dinner

Fairsted Kitchen in Brookline’s Washington Square hosts a family-style, Alsatian wine dinner – their first ever – on Wednesday, November 12th. The special guest for the evening, Christophe Mersiol, proprietor of Domaine Mersiol, will be on hand to walk guests through six of his family’s wines as paired with a six-course, Alsatian-style meal from chef Jason Albus. Look for dishes like pommes d’Alsace with confit fingerlings, demi glace, bacon and caramelized onion, as well as poulet tagine with sultana grapes, castelvetrano olives and preserved lemon. The delicious ode to all things Alsatian begins at 8:00pm and costs $95 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. For more information or to make a reservation, call 617.396.8752.
