Spend the evening of Tuesday, June 18th sampling the wares of more than a hundred Cambridge restaurants, caterers, coffee shops, pizza parlors, desserteries and the like at this year’s Taste of Cambridge. The annual event, now in its 11th year, returns to University Park Common (at the corner of Sydney St. and Mass. Ave.) with lawn games, DJs, live bands and more food and drink than you’ll know what to do with including tastes from Amelia’s Trattoria, Area Four, ArtBar, Bambara, The Blue Room, Craigie on Main, Garden at the Cellar, Grafton Street, Harvest, Henrietta’s Table, Park, Puritan & Co., Russell House Tavern, Sandrine’s, Season to Taste Catering, Summer Shack, Temple Bar, UpStairs on the Square and West Bridge. And it’s all in support of Cambridge-based charities like Caspar, Faith Kitchen, On The Rise , The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund CHAF and Food for Free. Tickets, which are available online, come in the regular and VIP variety for $50 or $75, respectively. Spring for VIP tickets if you want access to the special amusement-themed VIP section (which will be open from 6:30-9:30pm) in addition to the general admission area (which will be open from 5:30-8:30pm).
