Mark your calendars for the 2013 Bacon & Beer Fest – or, even more importantly, click through to the Eat Boston website to sign up for email alerts so you can be among the lucky few to snag tickets for the annual pork-belly-themed pig out before they’re all gone. This year’s event, scheduled for Sunday, May 4th at the House of Blues from 2:30-5:30pm, will feature bacony creations from spots like 51 Lincoln, 80 Thoreau, Beacon Hill Bistro, Bambara, Blue Inc., Church, The Fireplace, Garden at the Cellar, Gaslight, Petit Robert Central, Poe’s Kitchen, Puritan & Company, The Sinclair, Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro, Tavolo, Tremont 647, Union and West Bridge, among lots of others. And, of course, as the name suggests, there’ll be beer. Lots and lots of beer. A portion of the proceeds from each $43 ticket has already been earmarked for local non-profits Lovin’ Spoonfuls and Community Servings.
