If you can’t get to the orchard, let Artisan Bistro bring the orchard to you. The Downtown restaurant, comfortably nestled on the ground floor of The Ritz Carlton, is celebrating apple-picking season with a pop-up apple orchard. You won’t get to pick your own (no trees were harmed in the making of this pop-up), but every Saturday through the end of October you can enjoy the flavors of the season incorporated into cider donuts, caramel apples and mini apple streusel. These fall delights are available in festive little tins to be enjoyed on-site (maybe with a glass of spiced apple cider sangria?) for $22 (for two people) or $38 (for four people), or they’ll package them up to be enjoyed out of doors (maybe leaf peeping in the nearby Boston Common?). Pop in between 12:00 and 4:00pm to partake of the autumnal treats.
