Here’s a heads up for the meat pie-loving masses: the third Mick Dundee Challenge is scheduled for Monday, November 11th. This time around chefs from Coppa, JM Curley, KO Pies, Lincoln, Park, Pennypacker’s, Roxy’s, Saus, Strip T’s, Tavolo and Toro will be convening in South Boston – at Lincoln Tavern’s West Broadway digs – for the epic cook-off. Each $40 ticket, available online here, entitles five people to flaky-crusted meat-filled offerings from each of the participants, including the defending champs at Saus. Get a few friends together for the Land Down Under-inspired fun, which starts at 8:00 and goes until a winner has been declared (probably by 11:00pm).
