This year BostonChefs.com is teaming up with The Ellie Fund to throw the 17th Annual Oscar Experience Boston – the only officially-sanctioned Academy Awards party in Massachusetts. The fancy schmancy one-of-a-kind event on Sunday, February 24th works to raise funds to provide transportation, childcare, housekeeping, groceries and meals to hundreds of local breast cancer patients and their families. The evening begins in The State Room at 6:30pm with red carpet arrivals (yes, you get to walk the red carpet – so dress appropriately) before moving on to the live auction at 7:30pm and finally, the live telecast (on two huge screens perched in front of the State Room’s sweeping harbor views) of the Academy Awards at 8:30pm.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy savory snacks and desserts from Area Four, Artisan Bistro, Blue Inc., Brasserie 28, Cakeology, Cinquecento, Citizen, dante, Eastern Standard, Harvest, Island Creek Oyster Bar, L’Espalier, Lumiere, Sam’s, Season to Taste, The Tip Tap Room and West Bridge. And of course there will be plenty of fabulous drinks courtesy of Absolut, Avion Tequila, Jameson, Acqua Panna, Perrier and San Pellegrino. And maybe a few more fun surprises.
