Plenty of chefs remember watching Julia Child on TV; Chef Nitzi Rabin has fond memories of her hanging out and helping him in his kitchen. Child, who celebrated many a birthday at Chillingsworth and was a regular guest in the Foster Room, will once again be guest of honor on Saturday, August 11th. In honor of his friend and fellow cooker’s 100th birthday, Rabin and his team will be replicating the menu from a dinner they hosted with Guy Savoy (during the pre-Michelin star days). The evening, priced at $150 per person (including paired wines, tax and gratuity), will feature a multi-course menu and a walk down memory lane – they’ll have lots of photos and correspondence on display.
