A Royal Tea Jubilee at Bond

Pinkies up - Bond at the Langham Hotel wants to help you channel your inner Brit on Sunday, June 10th as they host their Jubilee Anniversary Tea. Being held in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, that's sixty years on the throne for non-anglophiles, the very civilized afternoon will feature dainty and delicious snacks from Chefs Mark Sapienza and Evan Leavy, and Pastry Chef Jed Hackney as well as a display of decorative hats to set the mood. Guests are also encouraged to don their finest fascinator - he or she with the most unique hat will win a Tiffin Tea for four at the opening day of The Reserve, a new restaurant set to open at the Langham this summer. The best part about all this British fun? The tea is being served at 1865 prices which means you only have to shell out one shilling and six pence (about $0.15) for your cuppa. There is only one seating (3:00pm) and space is very limited - call 617.956.8765 if you'd like a reservation.
