Chef Jay Silva Supports Chefs Collaborative

It’s easy being green at Bambara, where chef Jay Silva celebrates Earth Day for a whole week. From Monday, April 16th through Saturday, April 21st, Silva will be serving a special sustainable menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients. Look for goodies from Iggy’s Bread, the Yankee Apple Company and Snappy’s Lobsters among the contributors to the three-course prix fixe, which is priced at $50 per person. A portion of the proceeds from the week-long promotion will be donated to Chefs Collaborative, a nonprofit network of chefs that promotes a local, sustainable and seasonal approach to food.
