Bargain Bites - Unbelievable dining deals at Boston's best restaurants
Watch two up and comers battle it out for iron clad bragging rights when Chef Louie Night heats things up once again on Thursday, August 11th. This time around it will be Jason Cheek of KO Prime and Brandon Arms of Garden at the Cellar duking it out in the kitchen of Jerry Remy's Sports Bar and Grill to see who can best think on their culinary feet. Here's how it all works: after purchasing your ticket, you can vote on which ingredients you want to see on the night's menu. Once the people have spoken, the culinary competitors will be clued in on the main ingredients the morning of battle - which leaves them only a few precious hours to create a menu, shop and of course, actually cook their masterpieces. Chef Louis DiBiccari will be overseeing to make sure everything goes smoothly and Jackie Kelly (on her own turf) will provide some passed appetizers to get the evening started. Tickets, a portion of the proceeds from which go to benefit Lovin' Spoonfuls, cost $53 per person, a price which covers the multi-course meal, hors d'oeuvres, dessert from Cakes by Erin and wine courtesy of 90+ Cellars.
