Top Chef alum Tiffani Faison, who was most recently at the helm of the South End’s Rocca (now closed), is opening a southern-style bbq joint come the end of the summer. Sweet Cheeks will be setting up shop at 1381 Boylston Street in the Fenway in the spot currently occupied by Cambridge 1. As one might expect, the menu will feature ingredient-driven, responsibly-sourced fare that call upon southern culinary traditions as well as Fasion’s own familial traditions.
