Beat the Rush with the Aquitaine Group

Theater goers and early birds have three new inexpensive dining options thanks to the Aquitaine Group. Each of the Aquitaine outposts is now offering a Beat the Rush menu, available for $29.95 per person including a paired glass of wine. The three-course menus, which vary by location, are full of Frenchified bistro dishes like onion soup with Amontillado sherry and melted, aged gruyere; steak frites with périgord black truffle vinaigrette, watercress shallot salade and natural jus; and crème brûlée. Offered in addition to the regular menu, Beat the Rush, is available at Aquitaine Boston (617.424.8577) every night from 5:30-6:30pm, at Aquitaine Chestnut Hill (617.734.8400) Sunday through Wednesday from 5:00-6:30pm and 8:30-10:00pm; and Aquitaine Dedham (781.471.5212) Sunday through Thursday from 5:00-6:30pm. Call the restaurants directly for reservations or just pop in - since you'll be beating the rush they should have a table for you.
