Raw Food Detox Menu Debuts at Rocca

The season of excess has given way to the era of restraint and resolutions - in that spirit, Rocca will be serving a special Detox Menu between now and January 14th. Book a table at the South End eatery to feel all virtuous and healthy over three courses of raw food from chef Tom Fosnot. Whatever your notions of raw food are - think again. Fosnot's menu includes options like avocado carpaccio with radishes, hot peppers, lime, basil, mint, cilantro and ginger; and beet ravioli with hazelnuts, parsley-tarragon puree, Meyer lemons and mache. Pair your meal with any one of the vast assortment of mocktails or freshly blended fruit and veggie drinks. Lest you be tempted by empty calories, Rocca won't be serving alcohol of any kind during their detox. The menu costs $20.10 and the healthful beverages cost $6 each, so you can also feel virtuous about staying well under your dining out budget. Call Rocca at 617.451.5151 for reservations.
