Lyric Opens in Yarmouth Port

If you're heading to the Cape for the weekend - or, lucky you, if you're already there - wend your way down Route 6A to check out newly opened Lyric. Housed in the space that Abbicci once called home, the new restaurant features a seasonal menu of contemporary American cuisine from chef Jerome Watkins. Watkins, whose most recent gig was as Executive Chef at Mac's Seafood, has worked his way through top kitchens in Pittsburgh, New York and Boston (including spots like South Kitchen & Wine Bar, Eclano, BanQ, Pops and Hungry Mother). The inaugural menu includes tasties like house-made gnocchi with ricotta cheese, baby spinach, and mushroom sauce; and free range lamb chops with merguez sausage and lamb jus.
