12th Annual Chefs in Shorts
Forsaking their standard checked pants, Boston's top chefs don slightly more revealing attire for the 12th annual Chefs in Shorts, scheduled for Friday, June 12th. Starting around 7:00pm, your favorite chefs move their operations outside - onto the patio at the Seaport Hotel - for an urban barbeque. Guests can amble about from one grill to the next, sampling al fresco appropriate bites from restaurants like 606 Congress, Aura, Avila, Bambara, BOKX 109 American Prime, Bond, Bravo, Davio's, Gargoyles, Grafton Street, Kingfish Hall, Metropolitan Club, Olives, Sage, Sauciety, Sel de la Terre, Top of the Hub, Turner Fisheries and Union, among plenty of others. Proceeds from each $60 ticket benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank, which distributes almost 25 million pounds of food per year to hunger-relief agencies in eastern Massachusetts.
