Bargain Bites - unbelievable dining deals at Boston's best restaurants
As the summer season ramps up, Slow Food invites fans and followers to the Island Merchant in Hyannis for a leisurely evening of food and wine with chef-owner Joe Dunn. On Wednesday, June 10th, Dunn's painstakingly prepared four-course menu highlights early season produce in signature island-inflected dishes like Barnstable SeaFarms littleneck and shrimp ceviche; and house-smoked pulled pork and housemade potato parmesan gnocchi with caramelized onions, local goat cheese and wilted Swiss chard. Suggested wine pairings are available for an additional $3 per course, and local shellfisherman Les Hammilla of Barnstable SeaFarms will be making an appearance to talk about his Cape-based littleneck and oyster operation. Reserve your spot for the dinner, which costs $40 per person and starts at 7:00pm. Call 508.771.1337.
