Paul O'Connell Heads Up Island

Chez Henri's Paul O'Connell is planning to spend the summer on the Cape - but he's not vacationing. Instead, he'll be opening Chilmark Tavern in Bettlebung Corner, an oft neglected area of Martha's Vineyard when it comes to restaurants. Chilmark Tavern will take advantage of the fresh locally caught seafood, incorporating it into a menu that is comprised of simply prepared but nonetheless delicious New England style fare. Like most Cape restaurants, they'll open in late May for the season which extends through mid-October. They'll be taking reservations seven days a week from 5:30 to 10:00pm (or later, if need be) so if you'd like to see what this Cambridge favorite can do in a new location, call 508.645.9400 and plan an island excursion.
