An Abundance of Oysters

On Monday nights oyster-lovers can make the rounds, bellying up to the bar at Rialto or swinging out to Swampscott's Red Rock Bistro to toss back a few freshly shucked oysters for just a buck apiece. If Provencal-style oysters are the order of the day, Sel de la Terre has two opportunities for enthusiasts at Sel de la Terre Back Bay and at the original Sel de la Terre on State Street. Throughout the summer, Pigalle offers a discount on the delicacies on their patio and at the bar, Lineage welcomes early evening visitors to quell their oyster cravings on the cheap at the bar, while Stix invites guests to cool down with a whole chilly raw bar and frozen drinks. Take your pick and plan accordingly to get your fill of the succulent, summery little treats.
