Marliave Launches Late Night Oyster Bar

From Tuesday through Saturday evenings, oyster lovers have a new late night destination - the Marliave, in Downtown Crossing, will be serving an assortment of New England oysters for just a dollar each. Varieties from Duxbury and Wellfleet, as well as ones from further afield (as far as Maine and Rhode Island) will be shucked and simply dressed with lemon, cocktail sauce and mignonette so guests can get the full flavor of each. Through the end of the summer, the succulent little treats will be priced at $1 for diners who drop by from 10:00pm to 12:30am. Make a midnight pit stop to compare and contrast the different kinds or to get a steal of a deal on your favorite.
