33 Restaurant & Lounge
Executive Chef Joshua Botsford is working on an elaborate feast in honor of moms this Mother’s Day. Give yours a moment to relax and unwind over a leisurely lunch at 33 Restaurant & Lounge. The all you can eat buffet includes a make your own omelet station and carving station as well as an assortment of sweets made just for her. 606 Congress
The folks at 606 Congress want you and your Mom to spend Mother’s Day with them this year so they‘re offering two special dining options. Chef Toby T. Hill, with the help of his sous chef Justin Hackett, will be whipping up two special buffets – one for breakfast and one for brunch.  Breakfast, which will be served from 7:00am to 11:00am, will consist of such delectable offerings as baked breads, seasonal fruits, cereals, artisanal meats and cheeses, smoked salmon, oatmeal, omelets and waffles to order and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and breakfast potatoes. For brunch, which is served from 12:00 to 3:00pm, Hill ups the ante with some tasty extras like fresh Berkshire ham and a dessert table.  Both buffets cost $39 for adults, $19 for children 5 to 12 years old and free for those under 4 – so bring the whole family. Alta Strada
Arrange a table at Alta Strada for you and your Italian-food-loving mother. They’re taking reservations between 11:00am and 7:00pm and serving an a la carte menu full of mom-friendly dishes eggs Benedict with prosciutto cotto and truffle oil; open faced Italian omelet with lobster and asparagus; and slow roasted prosciutto cotto with home fries. Aujourd’hui
Show your mother how much she means to you by treating her to a special Mother’s Day brunch buffet at Aujourd’hui. Chefs William Kovel and Brooke Vosika will be whipping up a grand selection of goodies including breakfast specialties, a carving station and a New England seafood display. Plus, pastry chef Tim Fonseca will be there to ensure you get a hearty portion of sweets with their decadent dessert bar. Brunch, which costs $98 per person (half that for children ages 3-12), will be available from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Spend this Mother’s Day brunching at Aura as chef Rachel Klein pulls together a special a la carte brunch menu to delight every one. Chef Jason Bond treats mothers from Beacon Hill and beyond to a specially designed brunch at the Beacon Hill Bistro. The Beehive
Hipster moms are making a beeline for The Beehive this Mother’s Day. For Bedford diners who don’t feel like heading into the city for Mother’s Day, Bistro 44 is a perfect option – and it’s right in their own backyard. Blue Ginger
Book a table at Blue Ginger to give your Mother’s Day celebration a little east-meets-west twist. Café Fleuri
Spoil your mom all weekend long at the Langham Hotel where chef Mark Sapienza is cooking up three separate ways to treat her to something special at Café Fleuri and BOND. On either Saturday, May 9th or Sunday, May 10th enjoy an assortment of sandwiches and pastries at afternoon tea. Though the tradition itself dates back to 1865, the team at newly minted BOND give it a contemporary twist with a special Mother’s Day Metropolitan Tea (which includes a glass of Moet and Chandon Nectar Champagne) for $50 per person. On Saturday, if mom has a sweet tooth, take her to Café Fleuri’s Chocolate Bar where she can sink her teeth into over 125 chocolaty desserts. The Chocolate Bar is available from 11:00am to 3:00pm and costs $40 for adults, $25 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for the young ones under 4. Or, if you're looking to treat mom to a complete and lavish meal, try out their Sunday Jazz Brunch from 10:30am to 3:45pm which includes traditional breakfast items, seafood station, carving station, special children’s buffet table and signature desserts. From 11:30am until 2:00pm, chef Julia Brant will be dishing up delicious brunch plates in her own Californian and Italian-inspired style. This Mother’s Day, Chef-owner Steve LaCount welcomes mothers to Chiara, his Westwood restaurant, with a three-course prix fixe menu that’ll make her feel well loved (and well-fed). Chillingsworth gets their summer 2009 off to a particularly festive start, opening for the season on Mother’s Day. Take Mom to Clink this Mother’s Day, as long as it doesn’t dredge up any unpleasant memories of your adolescent shenanigans. Chef-owner Tony Maws knows how important moms are – his is his right hand woman at Craigie on Main – so he put together the mother of all Mother’s Day menus for her special day. Reservations are already getting scooped up for the prix fixe brunch (from 11:00am to 3:00pm), which includes appetizer, entrée, dessert, coffee or tea and a basket of pastries for $50 per person. Stop by the original location of Geoff Gardner’s Sel de la Terre Long Wharf this Mother’s Day and treat mom to some seriously tasty dishes. Chef de cuisine Gerard Barbin packs the a la carte brunch menu, available from 10:30am and 2:30pm, with dishes like French crepes made with Nutella, caramelized bananas and raspberry coulis; and filet and eggs with mustard hollandaise sauce. Spiced Pear Restaurant
