Coming Up: Blue Moon Bistro Cooking Class

One way to make it through the economic downturn without sacrificing on the gastronomic front – learn to cook some of your favorite restaurant fare in the comfort of your own kitchen. On Monday, February 23rd, at Blue Moon Bistro‘s next cooking class, chef-owner Peter Hyde will help you do just that. Using a mix of hands-on and demonstration techniques, Hyde will demystify some Spanish tapas including gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) tigres mejillones rellenos (stuffed mussels) and calamares a la Romana (fried squid rings). The class, which runs from 6:30-9:30pm and costs $85 per person, is designed to accommodate cooks who are just getting started while keeping the more experienced in the class on their toes, too. Reservations are required, so reserve your space asap by calling 508.385.7100.
