On Saturday, November 7th find your way over to the Boston Center for Adult Education to take part in a good time and great cause - Room to Grow's fall gala. Room to Grow, a nonprofit organization that devotes its resources to helping babies born into poverty, will welcome exhibiting photographers Nancy Carbonaro, Michael Casey, Johanna Cush, and Enna and Matt Grazier to display some of their work while guests meet and mingle with honorees Fredi and Jack Shonkoff, and members of the host committee Senator John Kerry & Teresa Heinz Kerry , Mayor Thomas M. Menino & Mrs. Angela Menino, and Governor Deval L. Patrick and First Lady Diane B. Patrick to name a few. Some of the area's best chefs will also be in house cooking up an assortment of delicious things on which to nibble - be sure to sample treats from Rialto, Olives, Avila, BOKX 109, POE's Kitchen at The Rattlesnake, Eastern Standard, Lineage and The Fireplace. Individual tickets for the event, which runs from 5:00 to 8:00pm, can be had online for $250 but there is a whole host of other sponsorship and donor opportunities available.
