The Hyatt Regency plays host to the season's sweetest fundraiser on Friday, October 30th. Home Sweet Home, a benefit for the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund, brings together bakers, pastry chefs and dessert-makers from Boston and beyond for a citywide bake-off. Competing for the evening's highest honor, the Yummy Award, chefs from Finale, Grafton Street, Henrietta's Table, Hungry Mother, L'Espalier, Sandrine's, Temple Bar and Tremont 647 will be plating desserts and assorted sweet treats for attendees. Live music will be provided by Love Dogs and TV Diner's Bill Costa will be emceeing the event, which runs from 7:00-11:00pm in the Presidential Ballroom. Proceeds from each $50 ticket (and each $75 VIP ticket) support the CHAF's efforts to help homeless and near homeless families and individuals find and afford permanent housing. For tickets and more information, visit the event website or call 617.354.5678.
