Better book your bed and breakfast soon, the Cape Land and Sea Harvest, now in its third year is getting bigger and better, drawing crowds from all over for the annual celebration of all things Cape Cod. From Thursday, September 25th through Sunday, September 28th local fishermen and farmers will be hosting tours, tastings and more to showcase the bounty of the harvest season on the Cape. Make a weekend of it – there are plenty of family-friendly activities for everyone, including clam digging demonstrations, lobster boat tours, pumpkin picking and hay rides at locations all over the Cape. Area restaurants get in on the fun too serving special harvest-themed menus. Book tables at spots like Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet, Cape Sea Grille in Harwich Port, Blackfish in Truro, Island Merchant in Hyannis, Blue Moon Bistro in Dennis Village, Abbicci in Yarmouth Port or Heather in Mashpee.
