Supper Club with Joanne Chang

Women's Lunch Place Facebook

For women experiencing homelessness and poverty, Women’s Lunch Place has been a safe haven since 1982 and in that time, the nonprofit’s ability to offer assistance has grown tremendously (thanks, in large part, to passionate donors who want to help make a difference). Much of this support comes from the Women’s Lunch Place Supper Club, an annual dining experience with James Beard award-winning chefs like Ana Sortun and Jody Adams. This year’s chef partner is Joanne Chang of Flour Bakery and Myers+Chang and on Thursday, April 4th, she’ll be making a special menu for the event’s 60 guests. Tickets are $500 each with all proceeds from the evening going towards WLP’s Healthy Meals Program, a primary source of nutrition and hunger relief for 78% of women who visit the organization.
